Mr. Fan holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from Oxford University, EMBA from Tsinghua Wudaokou, CFA Chartered Financial Analyst, FRM Financial Risk Manager, and “Outstanding Fund Manager” in the Golden Bull & Yinghua Award. He has 17 years of experience in securities investment management in the global secondary market. He has been a distinguished lecturer at the conferences of China Asset Securitization Association and Global IMN Asset Securitization Organization for a long time, and an investment consultant for several wealth management institutions. From 2005 to 2013, he worked as an investment manager at Deutsche Bank Global Markets in London and Cheyne Capital in the UK, where he was responsible for managing structured and derivative portfolio positions. In 2013, he joined China Investment Corporation, responsible for structural and special opportunistic asset portfolio investment management, with a total scale of about $6 billion.

Dr. Lau has worked in China Investment Corporatio as a Senior Manager at Investor Relations Department for many years. Before that, Mr. Lau worked in APS Investment Company in Hong Kong, Asset Management Department of China Investment Securities, and CHANG’AN Trust previously. Mr. Lau received his Master degree in Finance from University of Sydney, and his Doctor’s degree in Financial Engineering from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Dr. Lau has over the years built a board relationship network within China, which is extremely valuable to JinYi. He and Charles attended the same high school and have known each other for almost 30 years.

Mr. Weiss advises JinYi on deal sourcing, IC process, risk management and fund raising. Mr. Weiss is the Founder and President of Pershing Ventures, a US based private capital provider. Previously, Mr. Weiss held executive and producer roles at Citigroup, running Global Spread Product Structured Sales and Structured Credit Sales across Asia,, and HSBC, running Credit Structuring across Asia-Pacific. Mr. Weiss established himself as a solutions and client centric dealmaker focused on creatively solving complex financing and hedging challenges for corporate and institutional clients alike. Mr. Weiss holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, MA, an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Juris Doctor from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
